The burning of herbs or incense is a practice held sacred by many indigenous cultures the feather fan is to help keep the burning resins/herbs alight and burning in the right direction.

I brought these for may partner to help with smudging our home and he absolutely fell in love with them.
These are very big soft feathers that as soon as you hold "just feel right". My partner was very happy when he used them to smudge with as they were very easy to grip and hold but also because of the positive energy he could feel within the feather themselves.
